Americas Watchdog created the Mesothelioma Victims Center because a family member was exposed to asbestos while serving in the United States Navy, and died from mesothelioma. One third of all US mesothelioma victims served in the US Navy or the US armed forces, because they were exposed to asbestos.

The Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry (ATSDR) released a report last week entitled “Summary Report of 28 Sites” in which the Department of Health and Human Services-affiliated group revealed findings related to the processing of asbestos mined in Libby, Montana.
